If I win the $2K award, you don’t need to pay me. If it makes you feel better to pay the award, then we can donate the money, or most of it, to a good charity.

I can show you around town, take a road trip to a great place nearby, or be your driver as you do your own things or take care of your business in town.

It’s very important to me that you feel comfortable and have a great time. I don’t know what you plan to do during your stay. In terms of what we do together or how we interact with each other, I have some ideas, but I’ll “go with the flow” and let you decide or we can talk further and decide together. I don’t want you to do things with or for me that you don’t like to do – I don’t want you to feel obligated either.

All I ask and require are you act as a responsible adult and respectful roommate. We can treat this like I’m hosting a foreign exchange student – you. We should treat each other like how a respectful host and hostee treat and interact with each other.

If you select me as a host and let me have some high level idea of your plan (like where you need to be) and preference, I will provide a very comfortable, home like hotel (like Residence Inn by Marriott) or fully furnished apartment at a convenient location for you during your visit.

I will ensure that I get to the city we mutually agree to host you at, before you arrive – even pick you up at airport if you like.

Unfortunately, none of my 3 houses is in the city you will visit, but this allows me to be flexible and provide great, convenient logistics/ location to you. I can host you at one of your following visits – you just need to tell me which one, or we can pick one together. I’m from Los Angeles, but it will be great to meet at one of the other cities as well.
